Nominate a Product for The Coolest Thing Made in Virginia Competition
RICHMOND, VA — The race is on to discover The Coolest Thing Made in Virginia! The 2025 Virginia Manufacturing Cup officially kicks off Monday, August 4, with the opening of nominations at vamfgcup.com. Organized by the Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA), the annual competition showcases the innovation, ingenuity, and impact of modern manufacturing across the Commonwealth.
Manufacturers, employees, customers, and supporters are invited to nominate their favorite Virginia-made products for the title of The Coolest Thing Made in Virginia. Nominated products must be made in Virginia and currently available for purchase by individuals aged 18 or older in all 50 states.
“This competition is about more than just bragging rights—it’s about celebrating the products and people that power Virginia’s economy,” said Brett Vassey, President & CEO of the Virginia Manufacturers Association. “From global brands to small shops, every nominee exemplifies ingenuity, resilience, and excellence. We’re proud to spotlight these products through the Virginia Manufacturing Cup.”
The nomination period will remain open through Sunday, September 14.
The overall top three winners of the 2025 Virginia Manufacturing Cup, along with the top three products in each industry category, will be honored at the Virginia Manufacturing Gala on Friday, November 7, 2025. This prestigious celebration brings together industry leaders, innovators, and supporters to recognize excellence and celebrate products made in Virginia.
